# Cardboard
Brimming with infinite possibility, cardboard is my personal bread and butter. From creating imaginary gadgets to creating sculptures, cardboard is deeply personal and part of my natural craft. Different types of cardboard lend themselves more naturally to different applications, but any will do for anything. The flatter, more paper-esque types are great for smooth designs, signage, and light work. The heavier, more corrugated types are wonderful for carving and structure. Feeling the fibers snap as I make cuts along a groove, deciding whether to go with or against the grooves, peeling one layer to utilize the corrugation itself…all serves to aid in the sheer physical joy and purpose of working with cardboard.
# Notebooks
I have two notebooks specifically used for sigil work. The first is a simple and monogrammed notebook that is incredibly useful for unstructured ideas, sigil sketches, and letterform ideas. The second is a dot matrix notebook acquired from Uwajimaya and stands alone as unique in my collection of notebooks and sketchbooks. In this notebook, I sit down with pure uninterrupted intent and create finalized sigil pieces in analog format, utilizing the dots for structure without being distracted by the lines of more traditional notebooks. Neither notebook is especially private, but I prefer to do my work with them in the privacy and comfort of my room, especially the finalization notebook.
# Pendulum

Yes

The pendulum stays rock-steady.

No

The pendulum shudders in place.

Maybe

The pendulum sways back and forth.

Dunno

The pendulum swings clockwise.

# Pens
My cup of pens on my desk is curated to only include the most memorable, useful, unique, and pleasurable writing implements. I have plenty of pens I consider mundane, though the vast majority are purple, use purple ink, or (ideally) both. My magic utilizes a very specific set of pens, acquired alongside the dot matrix notebook at Uwajimaya. **Hello Kitty**: purple ink, deep and oceanic hue, light sensation, somewhat sheer ink density **uni-ball Signo .38**: purple ink, calming lavender hue, feather-light sensation, incredibly sheer ink density **STAEDTLER triplus fineliner**: purple ink, bold and energetic hue, powerful sensation, effortlessly opaque ink density **Le Pen**: black ink, quiet and reserved hue, agreeable sensation, average ink density on matte paper, watery ink density on glossy paper
